- 11:15am-12:30pm "How to Get Your Music Sync Ready” - Metadata, prepping produced tracks for sync use, packaging your music for sync licensing opportunities.
- 12:30-1:30 Networking LUNCH, on-site at the Alt Hotel; for those that opt in on the registration form..
- 1:30-2:45pm “Sync Industry Key Players & Roles in The Music Industry” – Who do you contact? How do you pitch? Where do supervisors look/find music?
- 2:45-4pm “Sync & Royalties, Contracts/License/Split Sheet” – Backend royalties; cue sheets, copyrights – SOCAN
- 4-515pm "Sync process hands-on” - Practical examples of sync success; demos of successful sync placements, why they worked, and how the process went. Examples provided by our panelists.
- 8-11pm Showcase Event with several Sync-Ready Sask Artists at The Night Market (submissions closed March 3). This event is public and anyone can attend to watch the showcases.
- BONUS 5:45pm Indigenous Music Series: Matt Maw "How to Get The Most Out of Your Music Releases" While not part of the SCREEN/MUSIC Summit, we are also presenting this workshop right after the last sync presentation of the day, also at The Alt. Everyone is welcome to join this one.

- 10-11:15am “Composing for Film/TV” – Artist-focused, how to compose for sync placements in mind. What music supervisors look for & trends in the sync composition world.
- 11:15am-12:30pm “Producing Music for Sync “ - Stems, versions of the tracks? Vocal/No vocal, 15sec, 30sec, 1min? Music beds? Producer-focused on getting the best mix ready for sync opportunities.
- 12:30-1:30pm Networking LUNCH, on-site at the Alt Hotel for those that opt in on the registration form.
- 1:30-2:45pm “Sync for TV/Film & Legal talk for Film Makers”. Contracts, license types, negotiating your sync agreement between artists and film makers.
- 2:45-4pm “Sync Your Funding” – How does music get funded? How do you find money to commission original music for your film? How do artists get funding to produce music for sync. Sask sync funding options and more.
- 4-515pm "AI & Sync” – Who Uses it? Why Use it? Does it have its place? OR leave us alone, robots! Do you own the copyright of your AI music to be able to license it? Ethic vs Legal considerations?

Registration Rates
- Adult $239 (save $50 on early bird registrations: $189 til March 16)
- Youth age 19 or under $189 (save $40 on early bird registrations: $149 til March 16)
- Networking lunches $20 each day (Saturday and Sunday)
- SaskMusic Members receive $40 discount
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
- While we recommend attending both days of the summit, the content is intended to build from the basics into more advanced topics. Please contact us by phone to register for a single day at 60% of the weekend rate that you'd be registering under.
- SaskMusic members - if cost is a barrier to your registering, please reach out. We will be drawing for a number of free and reduced cost registrations. This event will not be repeated for at least two years and we don't want anyone to miss out on this information.
